There's something oddly satisfying about chaos when it's wrapped in cozy, pastel tones - and Donut County delivers just that. In this whimsical puzzle game, you play as a mischievous raccoon controlling a hole in the ground that swallows everything in it's path. Yes, really.
In this Donut Country review, I'll share why this simple puzzle game quickly became one of my cozy gaming favorites.
The gameplay is delightfully simple: move the hole around and let gravity (and your curiosity) do the rest. As the hole grows, so does your ability to absorb bigger objects- from mugs to mountains. It's silly in the best way, and the writing is hilariously clever, with quirky characters and laugh- out loud moments.

But underneath the goofiness is a surprising sense of coziness. The music is mellow, the art style is dreamy, and the whole experience feels like a warm cup of tea on a rainy afternoon. The game only last a few hours, but it's the kind of story that sticks with you, much like a really good bedtime story.

If you're looking for a low-pressure, whimsical game that will make you smile, Donut County is the perfect bite - sized delight.
