I know.
I said I was done with Twitch and OBS.
And I meant it.....at the time.
But after spending more time on TikTok Live?
Yeah. Ya girl is officially over it!
TikTok Live Feels like constant noise.
You're expected to:
perform nonstop
keep up with chaos
fight for attention
chase trends mid-stream
and somehow still enjoy yourself.
What started as "this is fun" slowly turned into
"why am I forcing this?"
I don't want to yell to be noticed.
I don't want to battle algorithms in real time.
And I definitely don't want my creativity tied to a platform that feels draining instead of supportive.
Twitch Feels Like Structure, Not Stress
As annoying as OBS can be (and yes, it still tests my patience), Twitch gives me something TikTok Live never really did:
intentional space.
Longer streams
Actual conversations.
cozy pacing.
No pressure to be entertaining every second.
It feels calmer. More grounded. More me.
The Amazon Influencer Program Made the Choice Easy
The biggest thing that made this decision to come back was simple.
Being part of the Amazon Influencer Program
That changed everything.
Twitch fits naturally how I create now:
cozy, intentional stream
room to talk about products I genuinely use
space to share my storefront without fighting short-form chaos.
Instead of forcing product mentions into fast-paced lives, I can:
stream comfortably
talk naturally
build trust
and connect my content across platforms in a way that actually makes sense
That alignment matters.
This Isn't a Step Back It's a Realignment
Coming back to Twitch doesn't mean I failed on TikTok Live.
It means I learned.
I learned what drains me.
I learned what supports my creativity
I learned what fits the ecosystem I'm building
blogging, podcasting, affiliate income, and cozy content.
This time, streaming isn't the center of my world.
It's just one piece of it.
So yes I did say I was done with Twitch and OBS
And of course I changed my mind.
Because creators are allowed to pivot.
We're allowed to outgrown platforms.
We're allowed to choose peace over pressure.
TikTok Live can rest.
Twitch and OBS?
We're giving it another go this time with boundaries, intention, and a business model that actually supports me.
Which feels soooo right.
