Let me just say this loud an clear:
I don't have an Instagram account anymore.....
and honestly? I don't miss it. AT ALL.
Because I did something a little chaotic, a little genius, and very on-brand for me:
I turned my Pinterest into my Instagram feed.
And now? I'm fully addicted.
Instagram Pressure vs. Pinterest Peace
Instagram always felt like a performance.
The algorithm was moody.
The expectations were exhausting.
You had to show your face, show your life, show everything and still maybe hit 12 likes if the stars aligned.
Pinterest?
Pinterest is vibes.
Pinterest is mood boards.
Pinterest is content without the pressure.
There's no:
obsessing over follower counts
refreshing engagement
worrying about posting at the right time
comparing your life to someone else's curated feed
Pinterest just lets you be.
And that freedom is addictive.
So I Built My Own Feed Pinterest Style
I started dropping my cozy gamer photos
my setup
My blog graphics
My shopping finds
gameplay screenshots
Digital product spreads
My daily aesthetic moments
Even little life snippets like my coffee, hobbies, and animals.
And Pinterest said:
"yes queen, we love this!"
It felt like Instagram....but without the noise. A soft, aesthetic place to express myself without feeling judged or drained.
Pinterest Became My Safe Cozy Space
What I love MOST?
pinterest feels like a diary
a gallery
a mood board of my life
a place to be creative AND chill
a visual journal of my cozy era.
It doesn't demand anything from me.
It doesn't punish me for missing a day.
It doesn't make me feel like I have to hustle 24/7
And THEN the Magic Happened.....
people actually started engaging.
my pins got saves
clicks
shares
traffic straight to my blog
people finding my podcast
people joining my cozy community
Pinterest became the platform that
Grew my brand.
supported my blog
boosted my sales
AND doubled as a personal aesthetic feed
Instagram could never.
Pinterest Fit My Cozy Creator Life
I'm a cozy gamer.
A horse-girl gamer.
A blogger.
A digital creator.
A mom
A homesteader.
A woman healing and building something for her kids.
Pinterest fits all of that.
Every side of me.
All in one place.
I don't need Instagram's noise or TikTok's chaos to show who I am Pinterest lets me express it softly and beautifully.
Will I Ever Go Back to Instagram?
No.
Absolutely not.
Not when I can have a peaceful, pastel, aesthetic feed on Pinterest where I can share my life, my brand, and my cozy little universe exactly how I want.
No drama.
No comparison.
No algorithm anxiety.
Just vibes.
If you've ever felt drained by social media...if you want a place to express yourself without feeling 'on"...if you want a feed that feels like a warm hug:
Pinterest might be your new home too.
Turn it into your aesthetic feed.
Your gallery.
your cozy world.
It changed the way I create and how I show up and I'm never going back.
